Formula 1 - Grand Prix Austin

The United States Grand Prix takes place every year and brings together Formula 1 racing fans from around the world. The race has been held at 10 different locations since it began in the early 20th century, but it has been held in Elroy, Texas - just outside Austin - since 2012.

Taking a private jet to the event will ensure you have the trip of a lifetime. You can travel in luxury and attend one of the most popular racing events in the world, as well as enjoy exploring a great city and eating some of the best food in the country.

Flying into Austin

Austin is a major tourist destination, so there are multiple airport options for scheduling your flight.

The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (code AUS) is the most popular choice since it is the largest airport and it is on the southern side of Austin, in the direction of Elroy.

However, other choices include the Lakeway Airpark (code 3R9), Alexander Ranch Airport (code 5TE3), and Austin Executive Airport (code EDC). These airports might add a little time to your ground transportation after you land, but they can reduce your overall travel time by helping you to avoid the crowds. You can streamline the flying process and be on your way to enjoy the race much more quickly.

Getting Tickets

Tickets to the Grand Prix are quite pricey and not easy to get, so you'll want to start saving and searching early.

You can save by choosing general admission tickets to enjoy the festivities or getting a seat that's a little farther away from the track. You can also save by purchasing tickets for one day rather than the whole weekend.

Of course, if you really want to make a weekend of it, you'll buy the best tickets you can for the whole race.
