The Billboard Music Awards is one of the biggest awards ceremonies in the music industry, right next to the Grammy's and the MTV Video Music Awards. The ceremony is held every May in Las Vegas, and it gives music fans a great opportunity to celebrate the artists they love and hobnob with the stars.
Such a special event calls for a special trip in a private, chartered jet. You can sip Crystal all the way to the show, watching your favorite videos on your own private screen while you relax in a plush lounge chair. You'll feel like a star yourself - or at least a member of the inner circle.
Flying to the Show
From Toronto, you will leave the Lester B. Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ) and fly into the McCarran International Airport (airport code LVS) in Las Vegas. You might even spot some of your favorite celebs while you are leaving your private jet since you'll be far away from the commercial taxis.
If you want to avoid some of the crowds, you can fly into the North Las Vegas Airport (airport code VGT) instead. Known as Northtown, the airport is just under six miles from downtown and about nine miles from the Las Vegas strip.
Getting Tickets to the Show
Tickets to the Billboard Music Awards can be hard to get because the show is so popular, but you can snag some if you are vigilant. Go to sites like Ticketmaster as soon as the tickets are released, or check out secondary markets if you aren't lucky the first time around.
If you can't get tickets, you can always go to the after parties that will take place around the Las Vegas strip. You'll have a chance to party with some of your favorite musicians!
